about me
hello! i'm cube (short for sugarcubestars) and i started learning html in 2022, after having learned a little bit in 2008 and then forgetting, which is why this site is the way that it is. sorry!if you want a more extensive look into my psyche, feel free to look at the about page. otherwise, there are probably drawings i've made and photos i've taken ...somewhere around here. i also have been translating (not very well) the recipes from kirakira pretty cure a la mode! into english, so if that sounds interesting, you can find those here.

- i've given up trying to rescue my files off of that ssd. which is fine. it just means i get to draw everything all over again hahahahahaha (i'm being so normal about this. can you tell?)
in other news, i recently went on a trip to japan! i'll probably dump the photos i took somewhere. probably. it was a fun time :)
also got the theme switch code working wooo yippee no more searing your eyes with the surface of the sun (it wasn't that bad. i think. personally.)
please ignore the pictures of kurata mashiro, by the way. i'm using them as placeholders while i draw new graphics for the site (but do enjoy looking at mashiro while she's here. my daughterrrr i love her and her whole band) - 2024.11.25
- this isn't particularly relevant, per-se, but my pc's main ssd has failed and so updates will probably be infrequent. not that they weren't before, but, y'know. at least i have the courtesy to let you know this time. other than that, i'll probably continue with the arduous task of taking pictures of all the useless plastic trash i've spent money on over the years.

patch notes:- - overhauled recipes page! now contains every animal sweet that's gotten an official recipe, all presented in a lovely sortable table for your convenience. also (finally) finished lion ice cream after accidentally deleting my entire progress two years ago hahahahaha
- - cat macaron is here too.
- - image-heavy pages such as art and collection now open up into a lightbox! i really like this.
- - speaking of which, i finally sat down and took a bunch of pictures of my precure collection! not all of it, because that would have taken forever. (*i'm lying.)but some of it! more soon*.

implemented a style switcher, which means dark mode is now available! if i did this right, your browser should remember your choice and it'll apply for every page you visit here. for mobile users, i apologise in advance for making you scroll past all my social media links that i clearly do not use before you actually get to the dropdown menu.hahahaha i did not. i really want to try and make it work, so the menu's just going to be there doing nothing until i figure it out.

- it's been a while! apologies for the absence, i've been busy! back to what's relevant to the site: updated about page, and i started on that recipe project! right now there's only the first four (or, there's three but the missing one is still listed), but i'll try to stick with episode order in terms of translating them. also replaced the blog page with it, because let's be real, i was never going to be able to write an entry, let alone multiple. oh well!
